She is very involved in the community and in particular, the British Columbia Society of Endodontics where she was President (2013 – 2015).

Besides her dental pursuits, Dr. Lam is very heavily involved in her alma mater as she is the B.C. Chair of the Cornell University Alumni Ambassador program. This program allows her the opportunity to share her wisdom and enthusiasm with applicants in the admissions process at Cornell University. She recently has initiated a B.C. Cornell Club and is currently taken on a leading role on the Board of Directors. Despite her hectic life, Dr. Lam persists to challenge herself in her career as well as her personal life. Already fluent in English and Cantonese, she has spent the past few years learning Mandarin as well as developing her passion for abstract painting.

Dr. Lam’s gentle and caring nature is appreciated by all her patients. Her ability to handle and comfort even the most apprehensive patient along with her dedication and passion for her work is what allows her to excel in her profession.
